Bartley welcomes a breather before final lap
Birmingham Mail
|March 19, 2025
KYLE Bartley believes the international break is a good chance for Albion to rest up ahead of the business end of the season.
The Baggies have it all to play for with a Championship play-off spot still firmly in their hands.
“The break is a good chance to give everyone a bit of a rest,” said Bartley. “It's been a difficult week (Albion played three games) and it gives (head coach) Tony (Mowbray) a chance to do some training and get his ideas across because since he has come in there have been a lot of games and not a lot of time on the grass.
“I think after the international break you'll see us come out and deliver a good performance away at Norwich. Six games unbeaten, it’s really hard to do in this league. We've had some really tough fixtures as well. Hopefully we can pick up a few more wins after the international break and cement our place in the top six.”
