KEY player Tom Fellows has left Albion for fellow Championship side Southampton.

- By DAN NEWBOULD

Fellows, renowned for his trademark step overs, ability with both feet and amount of assists, has rose to prominence from the academy to the Albion first team and already been called up by England under 21s but has joined the Saints.

Albion confirmed: “Winger Tom Fellows has joined fellow Sky Bet Championship side Southampton for an undisclosed fee.

“The 22-year-old academy product made just shy of 100 appearances for the Baggies, scoring nine goals.

“Tom joined the club’s under-10s and progressed through the age groups, gaining loan experience at Crawley Town in the 2022/23 season, before becoming a first-team regular at The Hawthorns.

“He went on to be capped at England under-21 level and twice won the club’s Young Player of the Season Award. The club wishes Tom all the very best for the future.
