Bath-native Joe Westley has helped the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Men’s Rugby Club claiming its first ever Division III National Championship with a commanding 20-0 win over Springfield College at the Maryland SoccerPlex in Boyds, Maryland.

Westley was the team’s starting fly-half and played a key role in orchestrating the attack throughout the tournament.
The University of Stirling student rounded off his American exchange by scoring a try in the National Championship to help Wisconsin-Eau Claire create history.
The Blugolds finished the season with a 30-2 record and 965 total points scored - both of which set new single-season school records for wins and total points.
