Tough on domestic violence

Civil groups yesterday submitted a bill to the House of Representatives seeking stronger protection for victims of domestic violence, saying the current law falls short of safeguarding them.

The bill, backed by more than 26,000 people, was presented by the Women and Men Progressive Movement Foundation (WMP) and Feminist Legal Support (FLS) and accepted by the House Speaker’s spokesman and MPs.
