Thongchai went bogey-free while snatching four birdies on holes 2, 3, 10 and 11 during Saturday's second round. His 67 followed Friday’s 71 as he shared the top spot with Harrington on 11-under 131 heading into the final round of the PGA Champions Tour event.

Harrington pocketed two eagles over a three-hole stretch (holes 9-11) which also included a birdie as he surged into contention at the La Paloma Country Club.
