Leaders vow to tackle scams gangs together
Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul has urged Singapore to become a strong ally of Thailand in combatting online scams and expanding intelligence networks during official talks in Singapore.
Government spokesman Siripong Angkasakulkiat said Mr Anutin attended an official welcoming ceremony and inspected a guard of honour at Singapore's Ministry of Foreign Affairs before holding bilateral discussions with Singaporean Prime Minister Lawrence Wong at the ministry yesterday.
Following the meeting, Mr Siripong said Mr Wong emphasised that the visit was of great significance, marking the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Thailand and Singapore, and reflecting the deep friendship that had existed long before formal diplomatic ties were established.
