Run to fund orthopaedic kit
Bangkok Post
|January 29, 2026
The Royal College of Orthopaedic Surgeons of Thailand (Rocost) has announced a fundraising marathon to support 13 hospitals facing shortages of orthopaedic medical equipment.
Dr Keerati Chareonchavanich, ROCOST president (centre left), and Suphachai Chearavanont, CP Group CEO (centre right), joined Butter Bear and partners to launch the “Mission to Mars” fundraising campaign at CentralWorld yesterday. The initiative aims to raise 100 million baht for 13 hospitals lacking orthopaedic equipment and encourage Thais to collectively run 60 million kilometres — the equivalent distance from Bangkok to Mars.
