Ruling on ballot paper row 'should be 1st priority'

Nearly half of respondents believe the formation of a new government should wait until the court rules on the ballot paper dispute, while slightly fewer favour forming one quickly, says a survey by National Institute of Development Administration.

The Nida Poll was held on March 2-4 among 1,310 respondents aged 18 and over across the country.

It examined public opinion on whether the country should proceed with forming a new administration while a legal challenge over barcodes and QR codes printed on ballot papers remains unresolved.
