Market forecast to grow 2% this year
LG Electronics (Thailand) Co Ltd expects Thailand's TV market to post modest growth in 2025, driven by demand for premium models and artificial intelligence (AI)-driven features, even as middle-income consumers face tighter spending power.
Amnaj Singhachan, head of marketing at LG Electronics (Thailand), said the country's TV market is forecast to grow 2% year-on-year to 21.1 billion baht in 2025, up from 20.7 billion in 2024.
"The premium segment will be the key growth driver, led by OLED, QLED and ultra-large-screen models," he said.
LG continued to dominate Thailand's OLED market in the first half of this year, securing a 64.2% share and holding the No.1 position for the 13th consecutive year.
The company also captured 24% of the large-screen segment exceeding 75-inch screens.
