Crackdown on forged licences, tax stickers
Two people have been arrested on suspicion of involvement in a network selling cars with fake registration and tax documents, police said.
Pol Maj Gen Witthaya Sriprasertphab, commander of the Crime Suppression Division of the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB), said yesterday police raided 14 locations in Bangkok, Nakhon Pathom and seven northeastern provinces, including Roi Et, Nakhon Ratchasima and Nakhon Phanom.
Phassawat Yindee, 48, and Thirawit Kingkaew, 30, were arrested under warrants issued by the Criminal Court on July 16 for charges of “colluding to forge government documents”.
