One fine morning, young students at Sahathanakhan Krungthep Border Patrol Police School in Sangkhla Buri district, Kanchanaburi, were fully absorbed in rice planting activities.
In the school's paddies, pupils carefully uprooted seedlings sown by teachers and parents, took them across the fields, and planted them.
Despite clothes caked in mud, the children's faces were bright amid smiles and laughter, delighting parents and teachers alike.
Boys and girls worked side by side, some playing while learning, as they took part in the school's seven-year initiative to cultivate rice on seven rai of previously unused land.
