Ministry unveils plans for Bangkok Port

The Ministry of Transport has unveiled its plan to upgrade Bangkok Port in Klong Toey, with a pilot project to be carried out on a 520-rai area.
The feasibility study for the initiative is expected to be completed by next year.
Following a recent meeting of a committee debating plans to leverage Bangkok Port's land, Deputy Transport Minister Manaporn Charoensri said yesterday the Port Authority of Thailand (PAT) will hire a consultant to review its master plan for the commercial development of a 520-rai area of Bangkok Port's frontage and conduct a feasibility study and design for the project.
The feasibility study is expected to be completed by May, with a budget of 20 million baht.
