Ministry of Commerce unveils MOC Plus

The Ministry of Commerce has launched MOC Plus, a new initiative to enhance government services by leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) and cloud technologies.

Commerce Minister Suphajee Suthumpun said the platform focuses on overhauling the ministry's service systems.

Under anew direction labelled digital commerce, individuals can access all ministry data and services via a one-stop system, with the aim of simplifying processes, eliminating unnecessary tasks and elevating service standards to meet international standards.

The initiative has been developed through a collaboration with four global tech giants — Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Thailand, Huawei Technologies (Thailand) and Microsoft Thailand — to develop a central data architecture.

This will integrate internationally certified cloud security systems and Al-supported infrastructure across all departments, ensuring data is managed systematically, transparently and traceably.
