Stock market analysts expect foreign funds to keep flowing into Thailand as the decisive general election outcome signals stronger political stability and reduces the risk of extreme populist policies, keeping fiscal discipline intact.

Isara Ordeedolchest, deputy managing director and head of investment research at BBL Asset Management (BBLAM), said the preliminary results show the Bhumjaithai Party securing a landslide victory with 194 seats, followed by the People's Party with 116 seats.

The Election Commission (EC) is expected to certify the results within 60 days.

"The outcome reflects a more stable political landscape for the next several years, which should significantly strengthen confidence among both domestic and foreign investors," he said.
