Cops warn against fake aid appeals

The Royal Thai Police (RTP) have issued a public warning urging citizens to remain vigilant against fake news and fraudulent donation schemes exploiting the flood crisis in southern Thailand.
Pol Maj Gen Siriwat Deephor, deputy spokesman of the RTP, said that national police chief Pol Gen Kittharath Punpetch has expressed concern for residents affected by the flooding in the commercial district of Hat Yai and elsewhere in Songkhla as well
