Amnesty conditions for S112 ‘unchanged’

The House Committee on Peace Building said that conditions for offenders under Section 112 of the Criminal Code, or the lése-majesté law, to receive amnesty remain unchanged for now.
On Thursday, a committee majority voted in favour of revising the section. However, there was no clear proposal on what revisions are required, said Kecha Saksomboon, who is a listMP of the United Thai Nation Party and deputy chairman of the House Committee reviewing the Draft Act on Promoting a Peaceful Society.
