Taare, a Cape Town-based Bollywood dance troupe, is hosting its latest production, called Kismet at the Artscape Opera House on Saturday July 19 at 7pm, and Sunday July 20 at 4pm.
Now in its 13th year, Taare is known for its original productions that fuse cultural storytelling with vibrant choreography. Taare has captivated audiences with works such as Bollywood Enchanted, The Taare Express, Anjali in Wonderland, The Bollywood Bazaar, and more. Kismet promises to be the dance troupe's biggest and most extravagant production yet.
Kismet is Taare's Bollywood dance adaptation of William Shakespeare's masterpiece — Romeo and Juliet.
