CONSTRUCTION COLLEGE PRAISES 'DEDICATION AND RESILIENCE'
-
STANDOUT plumbing student Nathan Barnes, from Farnborough College of Technology’s Aldershot Construction College, has been honoured with a certificate of commendation and a £500 prize at the prestigious Young Builder of the Year Awards.
Run by YouthBuild UK, a charity committed to empowering disadvantaged young people, the awards celebrate 14 to 24-year-olds who have overcome significant barriers to thrive in the construction industry.
Held annually at the House of Commons, the event is hosted by Sir John Hayes MP and showcases nominees who have not only attained qualifications but also exhibited extraordinary resilience.
The awards shine a spotlight on people like Nathan, celebrating both their qualifications and how far they have come in pursuit of their dreams.
