RERA concession: Project liability display not mandatory for realtors

Old directive mandating display of project information to homebuyers modified

In a significant shift in transparency norms for the real estate sector, the Gujarat Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA) has modified its recent directive concerning the mandatory display of project information at construction sites.

Under the newly issued Order 112-A, developers are no longer required to prominently display the specific amount of any project loan on the mandatory onsite information boards. Thus, the potential buyers will now not be able to know the project loan amount availed by the promoter.
