Humorist Jagdish Trivedi's donation crosses Rs 19 cr

The Padmashri recipient donated over Rs 6 crore on his 58th b'day, taking his total donations to charity so far to over Rs 19 crore

Humorist, literary scholar and philanthropist Padmashri Jagdish Trivedi, who on his 50th birthday had pledged to donate his entire income to charity, with a minimum donation of Rs 11 crores, has now surpassed the same.

His donations touched Rs 19.23 crore on his 58th birthday, which he celebrated on Sunday. This was revealed in his book Social Audit of Social Service that he publishes every year, where he gives a detailed account of his income and donations down to the last penny.
