Actor recalls being a late bloomer when it comes to reading, says thrillers ignited her love for books

Actress Amanda Seyfried has shared a refreshingly relatable memory about how she first fell in love with reading and it didn't happen early.
Speaking to Reese Witherspoon on an episode of the Bookmarked podcast, Seyfried revealed that books only began to hold her attention when she was around 10 years old. Until then, reading simply wasn't her thing.
“There were these Lois Duncan books,” Seyfried said, referring to the late thriller writer whose work includes I Know What You Did Last Summer.
