GSDMA to train 9k apada mitra

CM reviews state's monsoon preparedness at high-level meeting; apprised of measures by senior officers

Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel chaired a high-level meeting to review the state government's preparedness for monsoon. Senior officials from various departments and agencies attended the meeting, where detailed discussions were held regarding pre-monsoon planning, disaster management strategies and community readiness measures.

During the review, CM Patel emphasised the need for the permanent deployment of an NDRF team in the Kutch-Saurashtra region. Highlighting the vulnerability of the region to extreme weather conditions, he directed Additional Chief Secretary-Revenue, Dr Jayanti Ravi, to coordinate with the NDRF for the necessary arrangements.
