Electrotherm embezzlement case settled, plaint quashed

The Gujarat High Court has quashed a criminal complaint alleging Rs 26 crore misappropriation involving the administration of Electrotherm (INDIA) Ltd after the brothers involved in the case informed the court they had resolved the dispute amicably through a family settlement.

Justice Hasmukh Suthar, in an order dated October 8, 2025, allowed the petition by Shailesh Bhandari, Ashok Bhandari and Vivek Bhandari. The petition sought to quash a private complaint pending before the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Ahmedabad.
