President Droupadi Murmu on Tuesday conferred National Awards on some of India’s most celebrated actors, including Shah Rukh Khan, Rani Mukerji, Vikrant Massey, and Malayalam superstar Mohanlal, in a ceremony that celebrated both mainstream and critically acclaimed cinema.

Khan and Mukerji, frequent collaborators and friends, received acting awards for Jawan and Mrs Chatterjee vs Norway, respectively, while Vikrant Massey shared the best actor accolade for 12th Fail.
