Comedian Bharti Singh has cautioned fans about an online scam in which fraudsters are allegedly using her name and an AI-generated version of her voice to promote slimming products.

In a video shared on social media on Sunday, Singh said she had been receiving messages from followers asking if she had endorsed so-called "thin foot pads" advertised online.
