Bail plea of man accused of espionage rejected by Guj HC

Justice HD Suthar of the Gujarat High Court has turned down the bail plea of Dipak Salunke, who is accused of providing sensitive information to an ISI agent in Pakistan.

The FIR against Salunke was filed in 2022.
As per the case, Dy. Commissioner of Police, Surat City, received a tip-off about a man, Dipak Kishore Salunke, operating Facebook and WhatsApp accounts and sharing confidential details and information about the Indian Army to one Hamid, an ISI agent living in Karachi, Pakistan.
