Registers net profit of Rs 5,806cr; bad loans rise marginally

Axis Bank on Thursday reported a 4 per cent decline in net profit at Rs 5,806 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, 2025, due to a marginal increase in bad loans. The private sector bank had earned a standalone profit of Rs 6,035 crore in the same quarter of the previous fiscal year.
