Quins’ director of player development believes it shows how the sport needs to innovate, change, and think outside of the box if it wants to survive, after seeing four pro clubs go out of business.
The Fijian-born Kiwi – who’s represented both countries internationally – is adamant that mixing the top leagues “has been a raging success”.
He told The Rugby Paper: “We’ve all got to innovate, and think outside of the box after seeing four club’s go bust, and the new Premiership cup is a great example of that.
