Oliver looks destined for the top after stirring start

TYNEDALE have started the season with one win and five losses, however in Jacob Oliver they have something to smile about.
The 18-year-old hooker came into this weekend sitting joint top of the National 2 North try-scoring table, having scored nine.
tries in a mere six games.
He attributed much of his scoring form to the club itself, especially the way they play, and a bit of good luck on his part.
He said: "All the credit has to go to Tynedale, it's a style of play I really enjoy. I just caught myself in the right areas and I have probably been on the luckier side, it could have been any of the boys." It is nonetheless impressive when you consider that the club currently finds itself third from bottom in the league table.
He has even been called into the England U20s squad for the first time as a result of his form, having already represented the U18 squad.
