ROTHERHAM Titans are the champions!
On a day to remember, the South Yorkshire side took the title with this victory at Billingham.
But it was the hosts who had the first word.
Billingham piled forward through Nathan Myers and Tom Campbell. Titans were penalised three times in the 5 metres line before fly-half Peter Evans stepped his way across the line to give the home team the lead. Evans converted.
But the Titans punched straight back.
A Richard Hayes kick to the corner saw John Okafor rise high. Titans pack drove forward allowing hooker Jack Bergmanas to crash over. Hayes added the extras.
Billingham refused to lie down, spraying the ball around, which saw Titans penalised for a high tackle.
