CHRIS Bolder has experienced two very different promotion celebrations with North Ferriby in the last 12 months.

The Villagers cantered to the Northern Counties East Premier Division title last weekend with a 1-0 win at Thackley, completing a second straight promotion.

This season’s exploits have certainly been easier on the blood pressure than last year’s dramatic play-off victory in division one and Bolder feels privileged to have enjoyed both successes.

“There was an outpouring of joy last weekend of course, but it was very different to last season,” the 40-year-old told The NLP.

“Back then it was relief more than anything because it came down to the very last seconds. This year I can’t praise the boys highly enough, we have led from more or less the very start of the season and have done such a professional job.
