MARK BEESLEY’S Warrington Town have been in this winner-takes-all showdown before – and 12 months on they’re ready to take on the pressure cooker again.
Beesley’s Wire put together a 22 game unbeaten run to push South Shields all the way for the NPL Premier title and end up finishing as runners-up.
The campaign was the perfect response to last year’s heartache of losing the play-off final to Scarborough Athletic.
Tuesday’s 4-1 win over Matlock Town booked their final ticket for the second successive season – and Beesley hopes Lady Luck shines down on Monday when Bamber Bridge are in town.
