Best New Product Awards 2026

EVERY YEAR, THE GLOBAL ECONOMY BECOMES MORE research-intensive than ever before. In 2024 alone, global R&D spending surged to nearly $3 trillion—tripling in real terms over the last 25 years. These massive investments drive the launch of innovative new products designed to make your life healthier, more convenient and more fun. In the United States alone, an average of 30,000 new products hit retail shelves annually, according to Neilsen research. Given the sheer volume of choices, it can be difficult to know which products to spend your hard-earned money on.

To help shoppers navigate this crowded marketplace with confidence, Newsweek has partnered with market research leader BrandSpark International to present the Best New Product Awards 2026.

This consumer-driven recognition is rooted in feedback from over 10,000 American shoppers who have used each of the products, sharing honest assessments of performance, value and whether they would purchase again. The winners in each category were determined by a formula that evaluated product appeal, superiority and repurchase intent based on survey responses.

This year's honorees include Burt's Bees Tinted Boosted Lip Balm, Chobani 20G Protein Greek Yogurt, Dawn Platinum PowerSuds Dish Soap, Teladoc Health and Wendy's Chicken Tenders.

We hope this guide helps you feel confident in sampling new products for yourself and your family.
