Abandon all preconceptions, ye who enter here. Throwing convection out of its stylish floor to ceiling windows is The Charcoal Project’s new store in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad.

LUXURY GETS A NEW ADDRESS

With a space that spans 35,000 sq ft, it’s more than just a breath of fresh air. It celebrates design, nurtures innovation and cultivates collaborations—it’s restrained visual opulence at its best. Restrained because while it revels in bling, there are no over-the-top iterations. Visual opulence because each space and every product has been meticulously designed with high quality materials and looks, drop dead gorgeous. But more on that later. First, we need to pause and commemorate the brain behind the brand, Sussanne Khan.

The new space is clearly a aggregate of Sussanne’s experiences, personality, vision and design sensibilities. “It took 22 months to complete,” says Sussanne, who opened the store in Hyderabad because her partners Karan Bajaj, Nafees Ahmed and Rishabh Jain encouraged her. And she couldn’t be happier with the results.
