Equipped with industry-grade tools and real-world exposure, Galgotias is rapidly rising as a media school, where students learn to write, shoot, edit, design and broadcast like professionals
SCHOOL OF MEDIA AND COMMUNICATION STUDIES, GALGOTIAS UNIVERSITY, Greater Noida No. 16 (2025) up from No. 32 (2020)
A At Galgotias University’s School of Media and Communication Studies, students don’t just study the media, they step right into it. If the institute has an environment that encourages creativity, curiosity and confidence in students, it also has a strong industry connect so they get hands-on training. Students regularly visit media houses, attend workshops and interact with journalists, filmmakers and advertising experts to understand how the industry works and what it expects from them.
With state-of-the-art infrastructure, students step into studios that feel like real newsrooms—complete with cameras, lights, a production control room, and even a chroma key set. Whether shooting a news bulletin or recording a talk show, they get to doit all as part of their regular training. There is also a podcast lab, called PlugIn Podcast by Galgotias University, where students create and publish their own shows. This builds confidence in public speaking, scripting and digital storytelling—skills that are increasingly becoming essential in today’s media world. Another key feature is the Graphics Lab, which trains students in design, editing and visual effects.Diese Geschichte stammt aus der June 30, 2025-Ausgabe von India Today.
