Asian Paints' Royale tribute to Kolkata, 40 years of colour, craft, and the spirit of pujo

During Durga Puja in Kolkata the city's heartbeat is made visible.

The air thickens with incense and anticipation; dhaak rhythms echo down old lanes; the skyline glows with fairy lights and festivity. And through it all, one symbol remains constant-the yellow taxi. That familiar flash of canary yellow winding through pandal-lined streets, ferrying families, artisans, and laughter across a city transformed. This year, India Today HOME visited Kolkata and witnessed how Asian Paints made that taxi something more-a vessel of memory and art.
