JARGON CRUNCHING

B-Bender The B-Bender was designed to emulate pedal-steel-type intervals and works by mounting hardware into the body of the guitar. Joe Glaser's design offers arguably the least intrusive and most discreet implementation.

Using a guitar strap as leverage, applying downward pressure to the neck operates a lever, which pulls the pitch of the B string up a tone for faux-pedal tones.

That looks just like a Flying V headstock, what's going on?

This is the Gibson Les Paul Music City Special, released to commemorate 50 years of Gibson guitar production in Nashville. That headstock (as well as many other design points) come from the Gibson Marauder, which has been mashed up with the Les Paul Music City Junior.
