Roy Thomas Baker

Producer Roy Thomas Baker, most famous for his work with Queen, has died at the age of 78 at his home in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. No cause of death was announced.

Baker was among the most successful audio gurus of the 70s and 80s, helping Queen to pioneer their ambitious blend of melody, musicianship and multi-part vocals. As a trusted member of the band’s inner circle, he manned the board for their iconic, groundbreaking track Bohemian Rhapsody.
