RENOWNED WATCH INDUSTRY figure Jean-Claude Biver once remarked that a watch is like a small universe, with the dial as its face. This idea resonates deeply with Franck Muller, whose collections span classic, complicated, sporty, and playful designs.

Among its most recognisable creations are the Cintrée Curvex, distinguished by its curved tonneau case; Vanguard, known for its contemporary, athletic aesthetic with integrated numerals; Long Island, inspired by art deco geometry; Master Square, defined by perfect symmetry; and Crazy Hours, celebrated for its unconventional arrangement of the hour numerals.

Given the diversity of designs and sizes, dial-making at Franck Muller is an intricate technical pursuit. Earlier this year, a select group of media was invited to Les Bois in the Swiss Jura for an exclusive look behind the scenes. Each dial follows a meticulous, multi-step process, which is shaped by the complexity of its design and the artistry of its techniques.
