Moleskine's CEO envisions a future where his company continues to empower artists, writers, and entrepreneurs around the globe.

IS HANDWRITING A lost art? Not if you ask Christophe André Antoine Archaimbault, CEO of Moleskine, the lifestyle brand synonymous with premium notebooks and creative tools.
“Handwriting encourages deeper thought processing, leading to greater insight and retention,” he asserts. “For many creatives, the act of transferring thoughts onto paper is essential to their creative flow.”
Archaimbault, who joined Moleskine as chief commercial officer in 2020 before becoming managing director of APAC in 2022, now leads the brand’s global vision. In an interview with Robb Report, he discusses the synergy between analogue and digital creativity, the importance of fostering collaborations and community initiatives, and how Moleskine continues to inspire artists, writers, and entrepreneurs worldwide.
How is Moleskine adapting to bridge the gap between analogue and digital creativity?
Moleskine has always stood at the intersection of tradition and innovation. We recognise that today’s creative process is fluid, often moving between analogue and digital tools. Our Smart Writing System Set allows users to write naturally on paper while instantly digitising notes for easy editing, sharing, and collaboration, offering the best of both worlds. Our goal is not to replace analogue with digital but to create a seamless bridge between the two.
