December always bodes a sense of finality to the year, where we are encouraged to take pause, afford a brief window of respite in our schedules, and reflect on the year’s learnings. Buoyed by the tides of change that we have all experienced here in the PRESTIGE Malaysia team, this issue manifests as an opportune moment for retrospect.

In my time serving as deputy editor, one thing has always struck out to me about our magazine: its inherent ability to hold on to its beating heart, its raison d'etre, as it were, despite the tumult that it has experienced. And what a year it has been for PRESTIGE in the face of new leadership, shifting economic climates, and the persistent encroachment of digital dominion over the feared sunset of print relevance in the consumer subconscious.
