SUNRISE'S SHIRVO RACES INTO NEW ROLE!

Once an athlete always an athlete... if you're Matt Shirvington, that is! Despite his day job as co-host of Channel Seven's Sunrise, the Olympic sprinter, 47, has accepted a surprise new role as a sprint coach at the Cronulla Sharks NRL club.

But that doesn't mean he'll be quitting Sunrise! "It was an opportunity too good for Matt to pass up," a source tells New Idea. "His schedule will be tight, but he'll juggle the workload."
