She's one of the 20 women hoping to walk away from The Golden Bachelor with Barry 'Bear' Myrden's final rose, and mother-of-five Kim says she's taking a huge leap of faith by doing the show.

Twice widowed, Kim lost her second husband, Stewart, six years ago. Having grieved his loss, she now feels ready to find love again.

“I ended up in this weird life situation where I’ve lost these two incredible men, two fantastic fathers, and kind of ended up on my own at this late stage in life accidentally,” Kim tells New Idea. “I’m relatively inexperienced at dating because I was married all my adult life.”

Kim, 60, lost her first husband Anthony ‘Shorty’ Short, whom she had two kids with, in an air force crash during an exercise in Malaysia. After Shorty’s death, Kim took some time to herself before meeting Stewart, another air force pilot. They fell in love and were married for nearly two decades.
