TRYING FOR A CHILD HAS BEEN A DIFFICULT JOURNEY

Jennifer Aniston has opened up for the first time about her secret longing for a child and her difficult battle with infertility.

While speaking to Allure magazine for their December cover story, the actress admitted that she tried for years to fall pregnant.

“It was a challenging road for me, the babymaking road,” the Friends star revealed.

“I was going through IVF, drinking Chinese teas, you name it. I was throwing everything at it,” Jen added of the great lengths she went to while trying to become a mum.

Jen further explains that she wishes someone had told her to freeze her eggs when she was younger, which potentially could have made her journey to motherhood much easier.

“I would’ve given anything if someone had said to me, ‘Freeze your eggs’,” Jen explains.

“Do yourself a favour. You just don’t think it.”

Now aged 53, Jen confesses that she has given up on her dreams of having a baby, saying that “the ship has sailed”.
