James Beard Award-winning chef Zach Engel opened Cafe Yaya, an all-day cafe in Lincoln Park, this spring. Located next to Engel's Michelin-starred tasting menu restaurant, Galit, Cafe Yaya is a more casual concept, where the chefs can flaunt their creativity, inspired by sidewalk cafes in Tel Aviv and Paris. Galit's pastry chef also pulls double duty here—look for things like savory bourekas, baklava and challah.
