Dr. Aditi Naik's journey as a botanist began unexpectedly, as she explored a range of aspirations during her formative years, from the allure of medicine to the intrigue of civil services. However, it was the encouragement of her mentors at St. Xavier's College, Mapusa, that led her to discover her true passion for botany.
