However, eligibility for this benevolent scheme deman adherence to a few stipulated criteria:

The girl child must be born in Goa.

She must be the biological offspring of the parents. At least one parent should have been a resident of Goa for a minimum of 15 years.

The combined parental income should not exceed Rs.3 lakhs per annum.
