It is at Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc, every detail left me spellbound — from the kaleidoscope of sky hues to the shimmering sea bathed in blue, the delightful sips of Bellinis, the indulgence at the Dior Spa Eden-Roc, to the flawless staff who made the world feel like yours. It was everything I could have wished for and more; after all, I had checked into the world’s most iconic hotel.

Ideally situated at the heart of the Côte d’Azur, it took me a mere 20 minutes from the Nice International Airport to reach my destination. Nestled in a spectacular botanical garden at the furthest tip of Cap d’Antibes, I could picture myself stepping into a scene from a summer holiday movie, on the brink of experiencing the most extraordinary moments of my life.

Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc lives and breathes stories. For one hundred and fifty years, this hotel continues to captivate an international clientele and A-listers as an exclusive retreat— from the likes of Picasso, Fitzgerald, and John F. Kennedy to contemporary stars such as Robert De Niro, Justin Timberlake, and Toby McGuire. It even played host to the unforgettable viral wedding of Sofia Richie. It just makes you wonder of the storied history full of romance, humour, mystery, and legend.

FRENCH LUXURY ABODE

Upon entering my one-bedroom suite, I saw a meticulously arranged lunch table near an open window. A fresh salad was waiting for me, set on a table for one. The deliberate choice to leave only this window open ensured I dined not in solitude but with a beautiful view of the sea and the garden. This gesture instantly touched my heart.
