We all overindulge sometimes, whether it's eating that oversized burger or having another drink when we know we shouldn't. But when and how should we draw the line in the interests of our health?

hold your HORSES

We're entering the silly season, where every day seems to present us with temptations in the name of a 'good time' or a celebration. Whether it's end-ofyear work parties, summer sundowners, multiple family gatherings or simply that let-your-hair-down, 'I deserve it' holiday feeling, it is highly likely you will be overindulging - often.

Beyond the festive season, in normal life, there's nothing better than hanging out with friends and family after a long week, right? And, if you're like most people, this usually involves lots of eating, drinking and/or smoking a little something. But there's a flipside to having a good time: overindulging on a regular basis is bad for your health.

DON'T BELIEVE US? LET'S LOOK AT THE HEALTH HAZARDS.

Munch-a-lot much?

Overindulging in fatty, sugary and salty foods can lead to various health problems, from becoming overweight or obese to associated hypertension, heart disease, high cholesterol, diabetes and several types of cancer.
