The baggier the better - this notion applies to denim jeans for 2023. Brands like Courrèges, Louis Vuitton and Fendi are reimagining the classic denim jeans silhouette - infusing it with the slouchy look intrinsic to 2021's lockdown fashion. Not to be mistaken for flared jeans or bell-bottoms, this year's baggy denim jeans see an almost A-line silhouette, where the legs gradually expand in width as they move away from the waistband.

Think harem pants, but without the drop crotch and cinched ankle. Available in various washes, this trend also comes in a myriad of styles, from ripped denim to shorter constructions. At Givenchy, Rick Owens and Alyx, cargo-like detailing like large side pockets amplifies the ruggedness.
